Technology librarian Brad McKenna – who has been wearing hearing aids for almost twenty years – hosts a monthly discussion group where attendees can ask questions and share tips and tricks. Brad gets the conversation started each meeting by showing what technologies he finds helpful. The discussion isn’t just technology. Brad shares practical advice, communication tips – like asking people to rephrase not repeat – and what’s involved in getting hearing aids in the first place.

Requesting workplace accommodations and advocating for your needs can feel daunting, but this webinar will provide the tools and strategies to navigate the process confidently. 

This session will offer expert insights on understanding accommodation rights, best practices for making requests and addressing employer concerns. Real-world examples will demonstrate effective communication techniques.
