Theaters
American Repertory Theater
The theater is equipped with an infrared amplification system for the hard of hearing. Headsets and accompanying headphones are available at the information desk. For patrons with a telecoil hearing aid, headsets and loops are also available – please set your personal hearing device to the “t” setting.
Citizens Opera House
Broadway In Boston has an ongoing commitment to building new audiences and making theatre accessible for all patrons. During each season, Broadway In Boston offers American Sign Language, Open Captioned, and Audio Described performances for most productions at the Citizens Opera House. If you would like to receive emails about upcoming accessible performances, please email [email protected] and note your interest in American Sign Language, Open Captioning, and/or Audio Description. Accessible seating can be found on Ticketmaster when purchasing your tickets.
Emerson Colonial Theater
Assisted Listening services are available for all performances. Please visit the House Manager’s podium in the lobby upon entry to receive a listening device.
They also have partnered with GalaPro that allows you do use your phone for captions on select productions.

During American Sign Language performances, skilled theatrical Interpreters use American Sign Language to interpret the performances on stage. The audience can see both the Interpreters and the stage action simultaneously. See the page linked above to ASL shows.
Huntington Theater

MGM Fenway Music Hall
We have assistive listening devices available. You will need a credit card for us to hold while you use the device. Please contact by calling or emailing [email protected] for questions or to make advance arrangements.

Museums
Museum of Fine Arts
All MFA videos online are open or close captioned. Auto-captions are always available for online webinars and events hosted through Zoom. For additional accommodations, please contact [email protected].
ASL interpreters are present for select community events and performances. E-mail [email protected] in advance to request ASL interpretation for a gallery tour, talk, or program.
