I don’t think hearing aids should be invisible. Since they don’t work as glasses do we’re going to have problems hearing some people some times. Making them more visible will help normalize and destigmatize hearing loss. What do you think?
I am looking for a CD player with high volume. Haven’t been able to find one on line. Help, please.
I’m doing some more research but my initial thought is, have you tried using an mp3 player with headphones? Here’s a link: https://www.tomsguide.com/audio/earbuds/i-just-ditched-my-bose-quietcomfort-for-these-dollar89-earbuds-and-the-sound-quality-is-bonkers
I have a new hearing aid with Bluetooth sound reception capability. Does anyone know of venues and theaters that install Bluetooth so I can hear performers on stage more clearly?
Hi Charles,
The vast majority of the assisted listening systems use telecoils not Bluetooth connections. If you have a T-Coil in your aid, you can see a list of venues that have ALSes here: https://hlaa-boston.org/resources/
Take Care,
